I think we were better off before the mentally ill were released on to the streets. They may have been better off in hospitals. Also, though, what is in the water or food that is making so many people crazy today?
I fully agree.
As for why people are so crazy today…..I believe it is a combination of circumstances. From mentally ill to our social decline…Food and water, as well…We’ve become a society where $$$ and the pursuit of it, have become the altar to which we pray. Where “anything goes” in so many ways. Our “cesspool” grows deeper and many increasingly are “drowning” in it.
As well, we are increasingly inundated by those who are weak and unable to grasp the situation. And fearful…..And lacking the means to which they could, if sufficiently motivated, blunt the circumstances. Too stupid, too fearful, too disconnected.
Thankfully, there a few about who are not such. Quietly working making change for the better a reality…..Know what I mean? 🙂
